The Friday Face-Off is a meme originally created by Books by Proxy and now hosted over at Lynn’s Books. The idea is to compare the different covers of a book with each week being a certain theme.
This week’s theme is a cover featuring something sweet: “Coraline opened the box of chocolates. The dog looked at them longingly.”
This week I’ve gone for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.

And the winner is… Cover H!
I did like the quirky, modern style of I but H was my run away winner this week. It’s simple and more importantly it screams Roald Dahl to me. Peanut butter and jelly, cheese and pickle, but no pairing is greater than Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with my winner, or does one of the others work better for you? Let me know in the comments!
Next week’s theme is a cover that makes you think of Summer Solstice – the longest day of they year.
Cover F for tme, quirkiness, colourful and the golden ticket lol
