This week’s Friday Face-Off theme is a cover that is from a sci-fi novel written in 1975 or earlier: “I have never listened to anyone who criticized my taste in space travel, sideshows or gorillas. When this occurs, I pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room.”
And the winner is… COVER I!
It screams classic sci-fi! It’s cheesy, and stereotypical to the highest degree. It is everything I expect to see in a vintage sci-fi cover. This one is my stand-out winner this week.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with my winner, or does one of the others work better for you? Let me know in the comments!
Next week’s theme is a cover that is from a murder mystery in space: “In space, nobody can hear you scream.”
