The Friday Face-Off is a meme originally created by Books by Proxy and now hosted over at Lynn’s Books. The idea is to compare the different covers of a book with each week being a certain theme.

This week’s theme is a vibrant, colourful cover: “My world was the size of a crayon box, and it took every colour to draw her.” This week’s book is The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin.

And the winner is… COVER B!

This cover offers an interesting perspective. Given the book is about what you would do if you knew when you would die, it seems to show a group of people debating their end. It’s a group of people enjoying the little things, appreciating what is around them. It really makes you think.
