The Friday Face-Off is a meme originally created by Books by Proxy and now hosted over at Lynn’s Books. The idea is to compare the different covers of a book with each week being a certain theme.
This week’s Friday Face-Off theme is a cover featuring a potion: “Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble!” This week I went with Wyrd Sisters by Sir Terry Pratchett.
Cover A Cover B Cover C Cover D Cover E Cover F Cover G
And the winner is… COVER F!
I love the design of the bubbling cauldron filled with some form of potion. It’s a wonderful design, and rather striking on the black background.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with my winner, or does one of the others work better for you? Let me know in the comments!
Next week’s theme is a cover featuring a dark road – “the road goes ever on and on.”
Yay – cover twins! My favourite has to be Cover C followed by Cover B! 😀

And being old-school – I LOVE the original Josh Kirby cover. It’s the one I own… Though I think Cover G is my next choice:). A great book for this week’s theme, Steve.

I love cover A – looks fun and mystical too with the witches hats hanging in the air as if the witches have disappeared into the cauldron

I like E, actually, but F is more artistic.
