This week’s Friday Face-Off theme is a cover featuring robots: “Don’t blame you,” said Marvin and counted five hundred and ninety-seven thousand million sheep before falling asleep again a second later.” For this theme I went for the first author that springs to mind when thinking of robots: Isaac Asimov’s Robots and Empire.
And the winner is… COVER H!
I am a real sucker for a classic sci-fi cover. It screams the oldschool vibe that I associate so much with the genre. Covers A and G are close runners up for me.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with my winner, or does one of the others work better for you? Let me know in the comments!
Next week’s theme is a cover featuring birds: “Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild.”
