The Friday Face-Off is a meme originally created by Books by Proxy and now hosted over at Lynn’s Books. The idea is to compare the different covers of a book with each week being a certain theme.
This week’s theme is a cover from a book featuring a strong father figure: “A man who doesn’t spend time with his family can never be a real man.” This week’s book is Mario Puzo’s The Godfather

And the winner is… COVER H!
This cover intrigues me. It has a dark mystery to it. The red and blue skyline kind of nods to the American dream, but there is an underlying darkness.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with my winner, or does one of the others work better for you? Let me know in the comments!
Next week’s theme is a cover from book within the epic genre: “Not all those who wander are lost.”
Cover I – the upside down American skyline dripping blood immediately draws me in wanting to know more about the horror within lol
