The Friday Face-Off is a meme originally created by Books by Proxy and now hosted over at Lynn’s Books. The idea is to compare the different covers of a book with each week being a certain theme.

This week’s theme is a cover from a book within the epic genre: “Not all those who wander are lost.” This week’s book is Paradise Lost by John Milton.

And the winner is… COVER H!

I love a clever cover with simple colours. This one uses mostly shades of black and white. The highlighting of the two people, the deeper shadows around the snake. All combine to make an intriguing cover.
