This week’s theme is a book cover that depicts something gigantic – a building, a giant, a monster, a beast, anything: “You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” This week’s book is Jaws by Peter Benchley.
And the winner is… COVER A!
I’ve often made it very clear I don’t like movie tie-ins, but this week I’m making an exception. Cover A is so iconic as a design that immediately evokes emotions. For one, *that* music plays on loop in my head and sends chills up my spine. Covers D and E get honourable mentions too. Both a really interesting, very clever stylistically.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with my winner, or does one of the others work better for you? Let me know in the comments!
Next week’s theme is a cover that depicts fire: “Keep a little fire burning; however small, however hidden.”
