The Friday Face-Off is a meme initially created by Books by Proxy and is now hosted over at Lynn’s Books. The idea is to compare a book’s different covers with a specific theme each week.

This week’s theme is a cover featuring a gang/group of people: “We’re putting the band back together!” This week’s book is Five on a Treasure Island by Enid Blyton.

And the winner is… COVER I!

Another win for Cover I this week. Quite a few great covers, but there was no contest here. It’s not the winner I expected when I first looked into this title, but the moment I spotted a Quentin Blake cover that was always going to win it for me.
